At the American Welding Society (Houston Section) Member Appreication Night, Electro-Mechanical Industries, Inc. received a Certificate of Appreciation for its continuous support of the American Welding Society and the Boy Scout Welding Merit Badge Program.
The event was held on May 8th at Topgolf in Katy, Texas and featured dinner and awards.
District 19 Director, Tom Holt presented the certificate to EMI representatives Fallon Egan Junior, Purchasing Manager and Inside Sales and Earl Simon, Quality Manager. Simon was also recognized for his service as the Section’s First Member at Large and appointed next year’s Treasurer.
Additionally, William “Tyler” Wunderlich, EMI Quality Control Inspector, was acknowledged for Distinguished Service to the AWS Houston Section for his contributions, including providing photography and article submission to the American Welding Society Welding Journal (AWS International Monthly Publication), assisting at Section Meetings, and volunteering for the Boy Scout Welding Merit Badge.
EMI is proud to support the American Welding Society and The Boy Scouts of America in their efforts to teach and inspire the next generation of welders.
